Our Story

A Dockside Institution

Tucked along Queens Quay on the banks of the River Foyle, The Old Docks Bar & Grill pays homage to the dock workers who built this city's waterfront a century ago. Floor-to-ceiling windows fill the room with light and views across the water to the tree-lined park beyond.

Family run and locally owned, the kitchen turns out generous, locally-sourced pub food from a team of proper chefs. We've built our name on cheerful service, fair prices, and a menu with something for everyone — including a dedicated coeliac and gluten-free menu, and a full vegetarian and vegan selection. Wheelchair accessible throughout.
