Our Story
A Proper Ice Cream Van, Run By A Proper Local Family
Tasty Treats has been bringing the unmistakable chimes of a real ice cream van to driveways, parks and playing fields across Craigavon, Lurgan, Portadown, Banbridge and beyond for over 15 years.
We still do things the old-fashioned way — proper soft-serve whippy with a Cadbury's flake, ice-cold cans, classic lollies and slush in every flavour you remember from being a kid. Whether you're flagging us down on the street or booking us for a party, you'll get the same friendly service and full-fat fun every time.

Frequently Asked Questions
How far do you travel for bookings?
We're based near Craigavon and happily cover Lurgan, Portadown, Banbridge, Moira, Armagh, Dromore and surrounding villages. Further afield is usually no problem — just ask and we'll let you know if a small travel fee applies.
How much does it cost to hire the van?
It depends on the event length, location and whether you'd like a free-serve or pay-as-you-go arrangement for your guests. Get in touch with your date and rough guest numbers and we'll send a no-obligation quote.
Do you take card payments?
Yes — on our street round and at events we accept cash and contactless card payments.
What happens if it rains?
The show goes on — rain or shine, we'll be there for booked events (we've served plenty of soft serve in a downpour!). For our daily street round, very heavy weather may shorten the route.
Can you cater for allergies and dietary needs?
We stock dairy-free and nut-free options and display full allergen information on the van. Let us know in advance of your event so we can make sure there's plenty to go around.
How far in advance should I book?
For weekend slots in peak summer months, we'd recommend booking at least 3–4 weeks ahead. For weekday or off-peak bookings, we can often fit you in at shorter notice — just ask!
