Founded in 2023, Derryveagh Boxing Club is one of Donegal's newest amateur boxing clubs, based in Gortahork and serving boxers from Falcarragh, Gweedore and right across the Cloughaneely area.
Fully affiliated and insured with the IABA, the club was built by head coach David Tennyson, who returned to his home area to develop a club rooted in the local community — starting with introductory classes in Gweedore and Falcarragh before finding a home in Gortahork.

Our name is an homage to the Derryveagh Mountains rising over the Cloughaneely area of west Donegal — home turf known for producing tough, dedicated athletes.
