About Ballydugan

Run with Genuine Love for Animals

Ballydugan Boarding Kennels & Cattery began with one simple ambition — owner Heather Cummings' lifelong dream of working with dogs. That dream became a peaceful, family-run retreat set on the Ballydugan countryside, where the surrounding fields and views toward the Mourne Mountains create a calm, relaxed environment for every guest.

Every pen benefits from roof windows that let in natural daylight, with gentle music playing throughout the day to keep our guests settled and content. In the winter months, all accommodation is individually heated, and each pet enjoys their own bed and toys for extra home comforts.

  • Individually heated pens with own bed & toys
  • Natural light & relaxing music throughout the day
  • Spacious countryside grounds for daily exercise
  • Experienced team trained in special needs pet care
